how drySocial started
I have always considered exploring the “sober curious” community, but with being in college and drinking being a large part of my social life, I never felt like there was an opportunity to explore it.
After graduating, I wanted to refocus on my fitness goals as someone who is passionate about lifting. I felt alcohol was hindering me from seeing my progress in the gym and slowing me down day to day.
how drySocial came to life
After exploring a sober lifestyle for a month, I started to look into influencers, brands, and non-alcoholic spirits that promoted a sober or sober curious lifestyle for those who wanted to embrace balance, fitness, and remaining social as a dry or damp drinker.
I struggled to find a community that checked all those boxes for me...so drySocial was born!

I want to flourish a community of both sober and sober curious people that want to grow a balance in their life while learning how to remain social and finding a lifestyle that is alcohol free or low alcohol.
I know I won’t always be sober. Sometimes I will want to indulge in alcohol for celebrations, time with friends and family, or to try something new and that is okay because the journey is about a balanced happy lifestyle and will look different for everyone!
